What's For Breakfast?

Breakfast...they say it is the most important meal of the day. Hmmm, I think so too. Because we sleep around 8 or 9 pm. That is when the food we ate during the day gets digested and in the morning most of us release it and we feel lighter and hungry lol. We then need the energy to help us last the morning doing what we need to do.

So we wake up early, get things ready for either work or school or even just doing the housework. Most think they get by with just coffee but they don't know that soon they will have ulcers due to not eating and the caffeine and acid of the coffee. The gastric juices are acidic so if they don't have anything to dissolve, they will begin to dissolve the stomach linings.

I am talking about this because it differs on what people like to eat. Usually when I wake up I have my coffee and then cook the breakfast for the carenderia and the family. After that we have our own breakfast.

I usually have the "pandesal" or the Philippine bread rolls or sliced bread. Sometimes I toast it. If I have time and in the mood I make french toast. But mostly bread and sometimes I have sunny-side up eggs with sliced ham, tocino or hot dog. Sometimes with rice but usually bread.

This morning I was thinking, hmm, sliced bread with the native hot chocolate. But while breaking eggs to cook the sunny-side up for the carenderia I saw that one egg was kind of long and thin. I thought, this might have two yolks and if it does have 2 yolks I'll have it for breakfast.

Lo and behold it had 2 yolks. Kind of nice because it as been a while since I saw an egg with 2 yolks. I even pictured the cooked egg! haha wanted to take the picture while raw but I forgot. Blame old age and excitement.

I hope this means I will have a good day and something nice will happen. Who knows, maybe thing will turn out for the better because seeing twin egg yolks doesn't happen to me often, very rare..... No harm in hoping :)

Here is the picture before I ate it with sliced bread and cheese...delicious, the yolk was dark yellow and cooked just right, not too runny and not too dry...of course because I cooked it. lol
